Dr. Jose grew up in northcentral Iowa in a small farming community. It was there that he was first exposed to chiropractic due to an injury he sustained playing sports and got to experience the benefits and power of chiropractic.
Dr. Jose graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Athletic Training from the University of Northern Iowa in 2015. Following his bachelor's degree he enrolled in the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic, the first chiropractic institution in the world. He has since graduated after a 4 year intensive program as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Jose is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is a member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society.
As a chiropractic student he worked diligently in exposing himself to various forms of chiropractic care to better fulfill the needs of his future patients. As an intern, Dr. Jose worked directly with practicing chiropractors to deliver the highest quality patient care. As an intern, he also mentored underclassmen by teaching Active and Passive Care techniques that help patients progress quicker and stay better longer. In his last trimester at Palmer Dr. Jose had the opportunity in working alongside a board certified pediatric chiropractor to help in serving mothers and their children!
Dr. Jose's experiences has given him a great opportunity to learn to care for a wide variety of ailments from which my patients may suffer. His mission is to help people achieve their full potential in their health goals through natural chiropractic care, therefore, helping his patients to live their lives to the fullest.
It's been a dream of his to be able to give back to a community and he is so happy he has found that community here in Ankeny. Dr. Jose could not be more excited to start caring for patients here!
Dr. Nicole grew up in Albia, IA -- a small town in southeast Iowa. She was an avid runner and loved being in track and cross country. Dr. Nicole went on to run at Wartburg College in Waverly, IA and it was there that she first experienced Chiropractic. During her freshman year cross country camp Dr. Nicole got an awful neck pain that prevented her from running or even moving her neck! So she went to see a chiropractor who adjusted her and gave her some neck exercises to do to help with the healing process. It wasn't an instant fix, but it got her running again the next day!
After that experience, Dr. Nicole decided she wanted to help people just like that! She graduated with her Bachelors degree from Wartburg College and went on to pursue chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. There she spent almost 4 years honing her skills as well as helping other students work on theirs as a Technique Assistant.
She graduated in 2018 and spent the next 1.5 yrs serving the community of Ames, IA. Dr. Nicole is trained in the Webster technique for pregnant moms as well as Activator and Diversified techniques. She is excited to work alongside Dr. Jose as they embark on serving the community they live in.
In her free time Dr. Nicole enjoys running, reading, and anything outdoors. She also enjoys spending time with Dr. Jose and their two dogs.
